When Brands Join the Game: The LOK and Racquet-Link Case at Summer Discovery
6 July 2026

One of the biggest challenges for brands today is finding real and meaningful ways to connect with their audiences—without noise, without filters and without forcing it. It is not easy. But when the perfect opportunity arises—an immersive environment, an activity that sparks curiosity and a group ready to dive in—everything falls into place. That is exactly what happened this summer during one of our most unique activations: the collaboration between LOK, Racquet-Link and the international student group from the Summer Discovery program at Universidad Europea - Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid.
Padel was not just the sport we chose for the event. It became the common thread running through an entire experience designed to entertain and energize participants while, without even realizing it, transforming them into content creators and brand advocates.
LOK is not a brand that seeks attention through noise; it connects with people by tapping into what truly moves them. That is why this project made so much sense: it was an opportunity to engage with a group of international students—young, creative and on the verge of taking their next academic and professional steps. They were not only a relevant target audience, but also one deeply aligned with LOK’s values and identity.
As part of Racquet-Link’s mission to connect brands with the padel ecosystem in smart and meaningful ways, we designed an activation that aligned 100% with LOK’s objectives. No loud promotions, no forced visibility. The focus was on creating a dynamic, participatory experience with strong visual potential and an authentic connection.
The student group was part of Summer Discovery, a pre-university academic program that has been providing enriching educational experiences to secondary school students and talented young people for nearly 60 years. It is not just about academics; it is about building a network of ambitious and talented young people with plenty of initiative. That spirit was key to the event’s success.
The day was structured in several engaging phases. First, a guided tour of the facilities to become familiar with the surroundings. Then came a creative social media challenge, in which participants had to express their vision of padel and the brand through spontaneous content creation. The prize? The winning video was featured on LOK’s official Instagram account, giving the creators genuine exposure and recognition within their group.
To round off the experience, we headed to the court for an on-court activation that combined learning, fun and a touch of healthy competition. For most of the participants, it was their first time playing padel, and it quickly became a memory they would not forget. From spontaneous laughter to teamwork and friendly rivalries, the court became the place where everything came together.
This activation perfectly reflects what we aim to achieve at Racquet-Link: creating spaces where brands and people meet in a truly authentic way. In this case, LOK was not merely present—it was part of the experience. The brand listened, participated and left a genuine impression on the students.
It was not a campaign. It was a shared moment. And that is what holds the most value for any brand looking to stop broadcasting and start connecting—by observing, listening and joining the conversation.
Because when brands join the game, everything flows more naturally.
